10 Ideas for Girls Weekend!

1. Blind wine tasting - Say what?? Grab a bottle of your fave wine and get a group of lovely ladies together - how this works is you bring a bottle of wine to wow your friends and place it in a brown  paper bag, every lady does this. You then make 'wine cards' that have categories: i.e. wine price, type of wine, location of wine, scoring of taste, and any other fun thing you want to judge. You'll need to number the paper bags so you know what wine you've tried and what ones you haven't - once the wine is bagged, numbered, and open you can grab a glass and get judging! If you're hosting, make sure to have cute lil prizes for the winning wines! Oh, and some snacks like a kickass cheese board, who doesn't love an excuse to eat delicious snacks?

2. Dance class - Twerk it out! No joke, you can take a twerking class or any dance class! How fun is dancing with your girls? It's the best! What makes it better is by taking a class and learning how to dance your booty off with your bestie or besties! Get your twerk on get get ya twerk on!

3. Slumber partayyy - Yes, yes, yes! Good ole fashion sleep over, filled with pizza, manicures, face masks, gossip, yummy snacks, cocktails, games, dance party, (maybe with the moves learned in your dance class) maybe throw a prank call in there for old times sake, and more snacks! Bring back sleep overssssss!

4. Brunch... but at home - Stay in your PJ's and brew some coffee with your favorite babes! While you're enjoying your conversations together pop a quiche in the oven, pop a bottle of sparkling, cut up some fruit and relax. Brunch at home takes out the stress of picking the perf outfit or brunch spot and makes it chill af. Sometimes a messy bun and no make-up is just what you need on a weekend morning!

5. Cooking class - Who doesn't love food? Amiright? You can book a cooking class at local shops or even hire a chef to come to your casa and teach you ow to make a dish to die for.
*Airbnb Experiences* Cooking is a fun way to gather with your girls and learn something new! Plus, you'll have a dish you can make each other in the future and share with the other people you love in your life!  I once took a cooking class in Paris and the woman was wonderful! I loved this thought that she shared, "memories are made in the kitchen and not just around the table" Um, love!

6. Photo shoot - Glam, glam, glam! Go shopping and buy yourself a ridiculously trendy af outfit and splurge on a photographer to take some bombshell pictures of you and your girls. Bonus: you'll have the cutest Insta pictures to post and #tbt for every occasion! It'll make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera not being solo, so why not be over the top and fabulous! Get those picture worthy moments and enjoy! P.S. Spring has sprung and you know those flower fields are a dream come true background!

7. Coffee date + road trip - This is a given - The perfect combo for a successful girls weekend is being caffeinated and on an adventure! Exploring new places will help your friendship grow because let's be real, the claws come out after being in the car with someone for more than a few hours! This might also make or break your friendship so make sure you actually like the person(s) before hoping in the car with them! Some fun tips for in the car *Make a fun music play list - bring Britney back, pack fun snacks, play silly games like "I Spy" or "20 Questions" and make sure to bring a phone charger!

Beer tasting is a fun experience for beer lovers and nonbeerlovers alike - Most big breweries have tours you can take for free or little cost and come with some beer samples. Beer tasting is a fun way to learn something new and to have a fun day with your friends. Breweries are hot spots for guys so if you or any of your friends are single and looking, a brewery isn't a bad place to start. If beer is a new concept to you, the tour will help brush you up on any words you might not know and don't want to ask what they mean/are. Most breweries have restaurants with amazing food options too. Grab a flannel and your drinking pants and Uber your cute selves to a brewery near you! Cheers!

9. Clothing swap - This one might seem odd to a few people but clothing swaps are uber fun + very trendy rn. "Recycling" clothes is very green. Trends come and go so quickly that it's sometimes hard to keep your clothes updated - trading trendy clothes or clothes that you personally don't love anymore with your besties is a fun way to grow your wardrobe and maybe have new pieces of clothing you normally don't gravitate to naturally - which can be fun and surprising! Clean your closet and get some friends together and have mini a fashion show and swap some clothes! Wooo!

10. Hike or Bike - Being outside is always a good thing and it gets enhanced by adding your fave ladies. Hiking is a great way to connect with nature and your girls - also, it makes hiking a lot safer in a group setting! *Pretty lame that I have to add that* Enjoying the great outdoors is a special experience that can be physically rewarding and mentally rewarding! A good walk + talk or bike + chat is good for your soul. Next sunny day, hop on a beach cruiser and ride around with your ride or die for a bit soaking in the sun and the nature around you! 5 Ways to do Cinco De Mayo

** I understand this is a blog of 10 but in honor of Cinco De Mayo (The fifth of May for you Gringos) I will be doing a list of 5.** Numero Uno-   Traditions - Let's be respectful. Cinco De Mayo is an annual celebration to commemorate the Battle of Puebla where the Mexican Army took victory over the French Empire. (au revoir  putas) In Mexico, the traditional celebration is very militant and in the US it's a fucking fiesta - but, it is important to be respectful of traditions so therefore, be respectful.  Numero Dos- Tacos - What is a fiesta without bomb ass Mexican food? Not a very good one. (jajaja) I live in California so I am #blessed with authentic Mexican food and can literally find tacos at any hour of the day. If you don't live in California maybe stick to some generic tortilla chips and some Pace Salsa and skip the tacos because it would be a shame to try to recreate tacos if you don't know wtf you're doing. Make sure you eat at least 14 tacos on

10 things to be thankful for this fall

1. Community - Be thankful for your community. Having lived in a small town and a city where wild fires destroyed homes, structures, lives, and left people's lives changed forever, community is something to be thankful for this fall. I witnessed so many strangers come together to grieve, gather, and give to the people impacted by the fires - whether it be donating food, supplies, time, or a place to stay, it was/ is incredible to see people rise up to support one another in a time of such need. In general, communities are very powerful and will be there for you whenever needed, not only during fires - many thanks. 2. Support - Be thankful for support - Support can mean a multitude of things - from someone supporting your ideas, dreams, decisions, to supporting you physically, financially, emotionally, spiritually, or just flat out being your cheerleader. It's important to have support and its equally as important to be supportive. Support is something to be thankful for th
